Los Angeles, CA - The University of La Verne had their last waterpolo matchup Saturday afternoon against Occidental College. The Leopards looked to get a road win against one of the top-ranked teams in the SCIAC. In the first quarter, the Tigers went up by a score of 5-3. The Leopards would be unable to get closer, ending the first half by a score of 9-5. In the second half, the Leopards held the Tigers scoreless in the fourth quarter. The Leopards lost by a final score of 12-11. Sophomore Peter Trinh led the Leopards with four goals. Senior Gage Unsoeld had three goals, and graduate student James Cano had two goals for their final games as Leopards.

After their final game, the Leopards finished their 2022 season with a record of 7-21.
