LA VERNE, CA- Undefeated in the conference, the University of La Verne women's basketball team hosted Cal Lutheran tonight at The Tents. The Leopards sought a third conference win and dominated the court to secure their undefeated conference record. 

Leopard guard, Dejanee Gill, scored the first points of the game with a layup on the first possession, initiating the trajectory of the game. The Leopards led the Regals by nine points in the first quarter and the second quarter was no different with the Regals trailing 11 points with a three-point jump shot by Leopard, Valentina Limon. The Leopards went into halftime with a lead of 36-26.

Straight out of the locker room, the Leopards carried the first half adrenaline to quickly advance the ten-point lead to twenty, later ending the quarter strong leading 61-45. 

Marissa Howell got the crowd on their feet with 4 three-pointers hitting nothing but net. It came down to her 24 points for the game and Dejanee Gill followed Howell with 12 points to secure the win by a final score of 77-63.
