Laguna Niguel, CA - The University of La Verne women's basketball team had three players named to the SCIAC All-Conference teams.
Sophomore guard Marissa Howell, junior forward Chiara Brown and graduate Senior Dejanee Gill were all presented with post-season All SCIAC honors. Brown and Howell were both named to the 1st team. Gill was named to the second team. Howell finished the SCIAC season averaging 13.6 points per game while moving into the top 10 on the all-time three-point field goals made list. Brown averaged a near double-double for the Leopards, posting 13 points per game and 7.2 boards per game. Gill, the swiss army knife for the Leopards, averaged 10.5 points, 9.3 boards, and 3 assists for the nationally ranked Leopards.
