Laguna Niguel, CA - Leopard guard Marissa Howell was named the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the week.
Howell averaged 17.5 points on an impressive 65 percent shooting from the floor, including 57 percent with eight made three-pointers, in another pair of victories for the University of La Verne. She added four assists against just a single turnover along with four rebounds as the Leopards handed Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges their first SCIAC defeat.
