Greenwood, CA - The University of La Verne women's basketball teams garnered more honors for their historic 2022-2023 season. This time the recognition came in the classroom as three Leopards were recognized by the College Sports Communicators for their academic excellence.
Dejanee Gill, Marissa Howell and Jazzlyn Johnson were all honored for excelling in the classroom. Johnson and Gill both played the season as graduate students while Howell earned her honors as a sophomore in the classroom.
The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
