Laguna Niguel, CA - Leopards junior forward Chiara Brown has been named the SCIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.
Brown marshaled a stout University of La Verne defensive performance in a 2-0 week in which the Leopards limited their opponents to a combined 90 points. She chipped in 8.5 points on 47 percent shooting to go with 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
