Fullerton, CA - The University of La Verne men's basketball team opened the 2022-2023 exhibition season on the road at Division I Cal State Fullerton. Taking on the Titans, the Leopards looked to lay the foundation for the forthcoming season.
With a mixture of newcomers and transfers, the Leopards battled the Titans throughout the first and second halves of play. The Leopards bench contributed 31 points in the contest. The Leopards defense forced the Titans into 12 turnovers in the game, while securing 26 rebounds. Guard Brian Adams led the Leopards with 8 points and 5 rebounds in the 91-52 defeat.
La Verne will host Cal Miramar on November 8th at home. The game starts at 7:00 PM.
