Laguna, Niguel, California - Senior Jordyn Patton was named SCIAC Specialist of the Week for the week of October 10th. Patton, the conference assists leader, totaled 76 assists to go along with 26 digs, three kills, three blocks and two service aces in a pair of tight victories, 3-2 vs. Whittier College and 3-1 at Occidental College. The senior has averaged over 10 assists per set across her past four matches as La Verne's 4-1 record in the last three weeks has them third in the conference standings.
