Laguna Niguel, CA - The Preseason SCIAC Polls have been released for the 2023 softball season.

The University of La Verne softball team was voted to finish 3rd in the SCIAC for the 2023 season.

The University of La Verne returns a league-high three First Teamers in pitcher Rachel Rubio, outfielder Haylee Hsieh and second baseman Taylor Gray after tying Chapman for second place on the conference ladder. Hsuieh recorded a team-best 47 hits and 19 walks for a .443 on-base percentage, while Gray led the defense with 85 assists and five double plays on a .972 fielding percentage from the keystone in all competition. Rubio tossed the third-most innings and struck out the third-most batters with pinpoint control in conference play.
